Life at the Reserve

I highly recommend living at the Reserve. The staff is friendly and on top of any issues that may arise. It’s located next to an and every store or restaurant you could possibly need!

Relocation

First of all I want to say thank you for the help and the support in moving to a new city. I will be honest it was most stressful moving experience in California. My job is extremely demanding and I wish I could have more flexibility in taking care of my paperwork on getting my apartment. But in the other hand I do appreciate the help and the patience that Mr. Kunle had towards me and my family. Thank you so much for being so classy and understanding my situation.

TRASH COST!

In Response to Morgan's OUTRAGE!!! I feel the same way! This is RIDICULOUS!! I just moved here!! I live by myself in a studio - I am never here. My trash is maybe, 1-bag a week, yet I'm being charged as if I had 4 people living here! Moving in took everything that I had, and I'm trying to recover! Now, after going over what my monthly charges would be and signing the contract, you are raising everything. (And, you want us to recommend this place to a friend for a mere $200.00)?! The correct thing to do is to find out how many people are REALLY living in one unit and charge them accordingly! This is BS!!

Maintainence :Isaac

I just had my apartment completed after my second flooding damage that was caused by broken water heater tanks. I saw Isaac the first day and he said he was going to make sure everything gets taken care of as soon as possible. He talked with about what had happened and where it had come from. Yesterday he was here checking on the workers who were ripping up the floor and patching the drywall. He was kind enough to show me around to where the leak had occurred. Before he left we talked about my work schedule and that they would come this morning to complete everything, which they had. Isaac was extremely helpful and I knew that he would keep his word when he said when something would get done. He's very friendly and outgoing.

Trash cost

Anybody else outrageous about the trash increase from $14 to $61 for a one bedroom apartment? Though It’s promised to go down in 2 months to $40 which makes it a total of $70 each month !!! For comparison : my parents are paying $80 for trash and sewer for a big family house in woodlandhills with 4 bedrooms!!!???

Hi Mojgan, We hear your concerns and understand the frustrations regarding the trash charges. Our goal at The Reserve is to always provide Residents with quality services and value. However, all multi-family communities were affected by the City of Los Angeles’ program of recycLA, which appoints us to utilize a trash service outside of our control. Waste Management informed us that the trash bins within our community have been overflowing on a regular basis, so to help keep costs at a minimum for you, we opted to increase the size of both the trash and recycling bins, rather than increasing Waste Management’s pick up days as they suggested we do (which would only further increase the monthly charges). Furthermore, we opted to increase the number of pick up days for the recycling bins only (this is a free service), in hopes that will prevent the trash bins from overflowing. Great place and staff ...BUT

We loved our apartment when we moved in, the units are large, location is Prime and the amenities are beautiful. The management staff are really exceptional and care about providing a nice experience. However, many of the residents who live here are seedy. Low class. The common areas are LOUD with literally gangs of unsupervised children running and SCREAMING horrifically. Its so dreadful that we've only used the common areas a handful of times all year. We cannot even have windows open or sit on the balcony. We are trapped in our apartment in order to escape blood curdling screams that occur Every day, consistently for hours. Trash is left all over the place (except the trash shoot) and huge families are invited over each evening and weekend to occupy the entire common areas for family parties, childrens birthdays etc. The police took away our neighbors during forth of july for domestic violence. Its like living in a wild event venue in van nuys instead of a beautiful luxury apartment in Warner Center. We thought this would be our home for the long haul, but sadly are counting the days until the lease is up. We hope to find a different property run by this management group, because they have been very attentive.

Weirdos in building

I have already had 3 different occasions where people have tried to open my door & confuse it with the people above me. I live in F building & im constantly seeing different people coming in and out of this building to go up to the 3rd floor. They wait for someone to come in so they can enter since they don’t have keys. They are constantly making loud noises at 12am-4am. It is getting out of hand.

Tired of the smell, random people & fights at 2am

The smell of marijuana everyday in F building 2nd fooor by elevators is unbearable. Also random people have been coming in and out of the building. Been hearing constant fights at random times of the day & upstairs neighbors have no Shame in all the noise they make on our ceiling at 2/3am. Constantly throwing things & being loud.

We care about your peace of mind and creating a respectable community for all our residents so we thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. It will certainly be something we’ll continue to resolve. When we receive a noise complaint, we reach out to the neighbors to request that they be aware and respectful of the quiet hours. We also ask those submitting the complaint to keep us updated of any further offenses so we can continue to address and escalate our response if necessary. Additionally, we provide security patrol that can be contacted by cell phone between 10:00 pm – 6:00 am nightly. We are working closely with the security company to ensure that the officers on patrol are both diligent and available when called upon. Please stop by the Leasing Office to pick up a security flyer with their contact information. D roach building

I've been suffering since I transferred to the D building in March with random roaches!!! Yuck! $%*$()%$*%($ I never had roaches in the F building. Well my "non-rent paying free loafers of the night" have been eliminated thanks to our new pest control company. Thanks Leonisha for all your help getting rid of those nasty bugs! Jones and Jones is doing a GREAT job for the property.

The Reserve at Warner Center

On June 20, 2015, we moved into our apartment. Having come from over twenty years in living in a house, needless to say we were very apprehensive about moving into an apartment complex. We are writing this to let you know our experience. First of all management was very efficient and cooperative in showing and completing paper work for the move-in. We were treated with the greatest courtesy and had all the help we required for the move-in. All our fears were needless and we both are very happy here. The apartment is beautiful and well cared for and the grounds and community are great. As a matter of fact it feels like living in a hotel (Marriott) with the various facilities, i.e. the dog park, fitness room, tennis courts, picnic area, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The grounds are very well maintained and the maintenance crews very helpful and polite. The courtesy of management is very nice and we enjoy our new home very much. We would recommend your community to our friends. Thank you for providing a beautiful environment.

THE MAINTENANCE CREW

Hugo, Abraham and Arturo from the maintenance crew came to my unit by introducing themselves . They both were very professional and knowledgable. This property needs more individuals like Abraham and Arturo. Great jobs guys!!!!

New

Everything is fantastic so far. Yes it can get loud but that's expected in any apt building. People just need to pick up after their pets. We all do our part and everything will be up to par.
