Make a Gorgonzola Spinach Artichoke Dip For New Years Eve

Are you having a New Year’s Eve get together? Then you’ll need some tasty snacks. Here is a quick, but mouth-watering recipe for a Gorgonzola Spinach Artichoke Dip.

Ingredients
20-ounces of of frozen spinach
1 box frozen artichoke hearts
3 tablespoons of butter
4 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1 cup of chicken stock
1 cup of milk
Salt and black pepper
Nutmeg
1 cup Gorgonzola crumbles
1 1/2 cups of Asiago or Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
Sesame bread sticks
Celery hearts
Pita crisps

Preheat oven at 400 degrees
Defrost spinach artichokes in the microwave
Put the garlic and butter into a saucepan and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Next toss in the flour, then whisk in the chicken stock and milk. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Let the mix thicken for 2 minutes and melt in Gorgonzola.

Add the spinach, artichokes, and half the shredded cheese. Put the mix into a casserole pan and add the rest of the cheese. Let cook in the oven for 10 minutes or so. Serve with the breadsticks, pita crisps, and celery heart as dipping sticks. Enjoy and wait for the countdown.
