"Dinosaur,

If you are looking for something different to do this weekend, we have a great suggestion, visit a museum!

We know you are probably thinking all the good museums are in LA, and you are right, LA has some of the best museums in the nation, but Woodland Hills has a few that might surprise you.

Kokoro Exhibits

21211 Oxnard St, Woodland Hills, CA 91367

Website

This musem has animatronic Natural History exhibitions and kids old and young will love to see large dinosaurs, bugs, and mammals come to life!

Animal Advocacy Museum

19855 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364

Website

We all get a bit teary when we hear Sarah Mclachlan sing "in the arms of an angel" and we see the pictures of those sad abandoned dogs. This museum highlights the mistreatment of animals and your admission goes to support the cause. Not an uplifting experience, but certainly eye opening.

The Museum of the San Fernando Valley

3885, 18860 Nordhoff St #204, Northridge, CA 91324

Website

Not technically "in" Woodland Hills, but this museum is less than a 1/2 hour away from your Woodland Hills apartment and will help you discover the Valley you call home.

Visit them and let us know what you think!
