Spring Cleaning Your Woodlanf Hill’s Apartment

  |     |   Uncategorized

The flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping which means spring is almost here! It also means it’s time to give your apartment a good cleaning! The kitchen is the most work, so here are tips on how to get started.

  1. Start with a 15 min clean up: This is all about decluttering and giving you room to clean up. Don’t worry about the floors for now. Just focus on washing and putting away the dishes.
  2. Dust down the ceiling and corners of walls: Decided if the walls need washed completely or just spot cleaned. Spot wash, doorknobs, doors, switch plates. Pay attention to places where people are likely to rest their hands.
  3. Dust and clean all art and photographs along the wall: Use a microfiber cloth to dust down art and photographs. Wipe down with a lightly damp rag, be careful not to let any liquid seep behind the frame and damage the photo.
  4. Dust and clean the ceiling fan: Use a gentle cleanser like Murphy’s Oil Soap. The kitchen ceiling fan can be difficult to clean because of the grease and food residue in the kitchen.
  5. Apply oven cleaner to the oven and clean the refrigerator: Vacuum the coils of your unplugged refrigerator. Sweep and mop underneath it too if you can find some help to move it and be sure not to scratch the floor.
